Who is LATRAVLA?

LATRAVLA is a proudly Australian, female-founded brand. Every product is designed on the Gold Coast and made with intention, research, and respect for skin, sleep, and the planet.

What makes LATRAVLA different?

The PillowWrap™ is not a traditional pillowcase - it’s a universal silk pillow cover engineered for travel and clean sleep.

It features:

What is a PillowWrap?

The PillowWrap™ is a universal mulberry silk wrap designed to fit almost any standard hotel, Airbnb, cabin, or home pillow. It creates a soft, hygienic barrier between your skin and unfamiliar sleep surfaces, while protecting hair and supporting cleaner sleep.

What is a PillowMask?

The PillowMask™ is a travel-ready silk eye mask designed to complement the PillowWrap™. It offers gentle pressure, a darker sleep environment, and luxurious protection for the delicate eye area while you rest.

How do I care for my PillowWrap?

With proper care, your PillowWrap™ can last 2–4+ years of regular travel and home use. Silk is a natural fibre – treat it gently and it will reward you with longevity.

How often should the PillowWrap be replaced?

If used daily, most customers choose to replace their PillowWrap™ every 18–24 months, depending on washing habits and how often they travel.

How do I wash my PillowWrap?

To preserve the silk and silver treatment, we recommend:

  • Cold hand wash or delicate machine cycle
  • Use a silk-safe detergent (avoid enzyme-based detergents)
  • Wash inside a delicates bag
  • Do not bleach or use harsh chemicals
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Air dry flat or on a line out of direct, harsh sunlight
  • Steam lightly if needed

Can I iron my PillowWrap?

Yes. Use the coolest silk setting on your iron and always press on the reverse side of the fabric. Being a natural fibre, silk can get wrinkles when folded, this is normal for silk.

Can I use fabric softener?

No. Fabric softeners, bleach and harsh stain removers can break down silk fibres and shorten the life of your PillowWrap™.

My PillowWrap is losing its shine, is that normal?

Yes. Genuine mulberry silk softens and can become slightly more matte with wear and washing. This is a normal ageing process of natural silk.

My order arrived incorrect - what do I do?

Please email hello@latravla.com within 7 days of receiving your parcel.

Include:

  • Your order number
  • A quick photo of the item you received

We’ll review and fix it straight away.

My product is damaged or faulty - can I get a replacement?

Yes. We proudly stand behind our craftsmanship. If your item arrives damaged or has a clear manufacturing fault, email us at hello@latravla.com with photos and your order number – we’ll arrange a replacement or solution as quickly as possible.

My PillowWrap is breaking down faster that I expected - why?

Silk deterioration can be caused by:

  • Enzyme-based or harsh detergents and stain removers
  • Bleach or optical brighteners
  • Hot water washes
  • Tumble drying on high heat
  • Rough hotel pillow fabrics or rough surfaces (velcro, zips, jewellery, stubble)

If your PillowWrap™ has worn more quickly than expected and you’ve followed our care instructions, please contact us – we will always assess your case fairly and see how we can help.

Do you accept returns?

Due to hygiene reasons, we can only accept returns on products that are unused, unopened, and still in their original packaging - within 30 days of arrival.

What if I change my mind?

If your product is unused and unopened, we’re happy to arrange a return or exchange. Please email us within14 days of receiving your order so we can help.

Do you offer refunds for used items?

Unfortunately, no. Once a product has been opened and used, we are unable to accept it back due to hygiene and safety standards. If your item is faulty, please email hello@latravla.com with your order number and photos of the product.

Where do you ship from?

Our orders are shipped from Australia and China.

What carrier do you use?

We ship via Australia Post for both domestic and international orders. We will also use International carriers for international orders.

How long does shipping take?

Australia:

  • Standard: 3–7 business days
  • Express: 1–3 business days

International:

  • Standard: 7–14 business days
  • Express: 3–7 business days

Do you provide a tracking number?

Yes. Every order includes tracking. A tracking link will be emailed to you as soon as your parcel has been dispatched.

What if my package is delayed, lost or stole?

First, please:

  • Check your tracking link for updates
  • Contact Australia Post to lodge an enquiry, if needed

The colour I want is 'Out Of Stock' - will it be back?

You can join the restock list by clicking “Notify Me” on the product page. We restock in small, intentional batches.

Do you discontinue colours?

Yes. LATRAVLA works in limited collections. Some colours or prints are limited editions and may not return once they’re sold out.

When do you launch new collections?

We release new colours and limited editions seasonally. Follow us on Instagram @latravla or join the newsletter to be the first to know.

What certifications does LATRAVLA have?

Our silk fabrics and dyes meet OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, meaning they are tested for harmful substances and are safe for prolonged skin contact. Our Silvadur certification is for the SILVADUR™ 930 FLEX Antimicrobial product.

Does LATRAVLA offer a warranty?

Yes - we offer a Quality Guarantee. If your product has any clear workmanship issues, contact us at hello@latravla.com with your order details and photos and we’ll help with a repair, replacement, or suitable resolution.

Is there a sustainability Pledge?

Yes. Our packaging is designed to be biodegradable or recyclable, and we support environmental and community initiatives through organisations such as1% for the Planet and programs in Australia and Bali.
