SILVADUR®

SILVADUR® is a polymer-silver technology developed for healthcare and clinical textile applications. It does not sit on the surface of the silk. It bonds through the sericin protein naturally present in mulberry silk, making the antimicrobial function intrinsic to the fibre itself.

Bonded at the fibre, not sprayed on, so it is not a finish that washes out

Our story

It started with a silk scarf over a hotel pillow.

Whenever I travelled, I would lay my own silk scarf over the pillow before going to sleep. Eventually, I wondered: why wasn’t there something designed specifically for this? That question became PillowWrap, and the beginning of LATRAVLA.
