Our Story
There's a moment I come back to often - a small, ordinary moment that quietly changed the trajectory of my life. I was standing in yet another hotel room, exhausted from travelling, looking at a pillow I didn't trust. Years of autoimmune conditions, allergies, and sensitivity meant that even something as simple as sleeping in a new bed could leave me unwell for days.
So I did what I had done countless times before: I reached into my bag, pulled out my silk scarf, and wrapped it around the pillow. Not for luxury… but for protection. Protection from detergents, fragrances, bacteria, allergens -the invisible things that so many travellers never think about, but that my body felt immediately.
That night I realised something important: sleep isn't just comfort - it's chemistry, biology, hygiene, and healing. And for travellers, the surface we sleep on is often the least safe part of the journey.
That moment became the seed of LATRAVLA. And the PillowWrap™ became the product I wish I'd had for years.
