How to Care for Your LATRAVLA® Silk

The PillowWrap™ and PillowMask™ are designed for travel wellness, skin protection, and long-term use. This care ritual helps preserve the silk fibres, maintain the SILVADUR® silver nanoparticles, and protect the organic cotton pouch.

Daily Care

After Each Use

Gently shake out your PillowWrap™ or PillowMask™ to release any loose particles. Store in the organic cotton pouch to protect from dust and light.

Between Washes

Air your silk product in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. The SILVADUR® technology naturally resists odour and bacteria.

Washing Your Silk

Hand Washing (Recommended)

Use cool water and a pH-neutral silk detergent. Gently agitate for 3–5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with cool water until all soap is removed.

Machine Washing

Place in a mesh laundry bag. Use delicate cycle with cold water. Select gentle or silk-specific detergent. Avoid fabric softener.

Drying

Lay flat on a clean towel away from direct heat or sunlight. Never wring or twist. Do not tumble dry. Allow to air dry completely before storing.

Storage & Longevity

Proper Storage

Always store in the organic cotton pouch provided. Keep in a cool, dry place. Avoid plastic bags which can trap moisture.

Travel Care

Pack in your carry-on to avoid compression. Use the cotton pouch to separate from other items. Refresh by airing upon arrival.
